Full Job Description
Prosperity Bank, a financial institution based in Victoria, Texas, is seeking an experienced IT Hardware Technician III to provide comprehensive technical support for desktop computers and related end-user hardware. This full-time, onsite role involves assisting users with the installation and configuration of hardware, performing regular maintenance and testing of critical peripheral devices such as branch capture devices and printers, and ensuring optimal service levels across the organization. The IT Hardware Technician III will collaborate with various IT teams, including Tech Support, Networking, and Application Support, to troubleshoot and resolve end-user issues effectively. This position requires independent analysis, clear communication, and proactive problem-solving. You will foster professional relationships with clients, staff, and vendors, while maintaining a positive image for the company. Responsibilities include imaging replacement PCs, tracking and resolving hardware problems, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a cooperative team environment. A strong understanding of Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering regulations is also required, including reporting suspicious activity and completing annual training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing end-user computing hardware technical support.
- Imaging and shipping replacement PCs to designated locations.
- Assisting users with the installation, configuration, and usability of desktop computers and peripherals.
- Collaborating with other IT teams to resolve end-user issues.
- Maintaining and testing branch capture devices, printers, and Multi Function Print devices.
- Performing independent analysis, communication, and problem-solving with moderate supervision.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with clients, vendors, and outside contacts.
- Tracking and resolving problems promptly to ensure optimal service and meet service levels.
- Obtaining and conveying information, logging all problems with cause and resolution.
- Promoting goodwill and a positive company image.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff, departments, and management.
- Recording resolutions for future reference, training, and reporting.
- Cooperating in a team environment to promote strong customer assistance and learning.
- Assisting in providing technical solutions by working with different departments.
- Keeping management informed of area activities and significant problems.
- Attending required meetings and maintaining accurate reports.
- Performing miscellaneous duties and ensuring a clean and secure work area.
- Updating technical skills as required.
- Fulfilling Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering related duties, understanding regulations, policies, and procedures, reporting suspicious activity, and completing annual training.
