IT Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an IT Engineer, Software (Intermediate) with 3–5 years of hands-on experience building and supporting business-critical web applications. This role sits at the intersection of design and engineering within the IT Business Applications function — translating wireframes and design systems into responsive, accessible, production-ready interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, user-centric web interfaces from wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications.
• Build, customize, and maintain AEM components, templates, and client libraries (HTL/Sightly, JS, CSS).
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and back-end developers to translate design concepts into functional AEM pages and components.
• Ensure UI consistency by contributing to and maintaining a shared design system / component library.
• Optimize front-end performance, page load times, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility.
• Conduct usability reviews and incorporate feedback from user testing into design and development iterations.
• Ensure all interfaces meet accessibility standards (WCAG/ADA compliance).
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve UI-related defects across the AEM platform.
