OnGrid, a leading digital trust platform, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Engineer to join our team in Gurugram. This role is crucial for managing and supporting our organization's network infrastructure, systems, and overall IT operations. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in networking, system administration, and end-user support, contributing to the seamless functioning of our IT environment.

Key Responsibilities in Gurugram

• Maintain and meticulously document all network configurations, operational processes, and IT assets.
• Provide timely and effective technical support, resolving network and system-related issues for our Gurugram-based operations.
• Design, configure, and maintain robust LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi networks.
• Configure and manage essential network devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Proactively monitor network performance to ensure optimal uptime, reliability, and security.
• Implement and manage security measures such as firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS), and access control policies.
• Administer Active Directory (AD), domain services, and manage user accounts efficiently.
• Oversee hardware management, perform troubleshooting, and manage the IT asset lifecycle.
• Support a diverse range of systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Manage endpoint security tools and ensure strict adherence to company security policies.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of CCTV systems.
• Handle email systems, manage ticketing tools, and address user queries promptly.
• Support asset migration initiatives, maintain IT inventory, and participate in audits.

Required Skills & Qualifications for Gurugram Role

• Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience with routers, switches, and access points.
• A foundational understanding of firewall technologies (e.g., Fortinet, Palo Alto).
• Solid knowledge of network security best practices.
• Proven experience in hardware troubleshooting and general system support.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, domain services, and user account management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Skills for an IT Engineer in Gurugram

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA / CCNP are a plus.
• Experience with cloud networking environments (AWS / Azure).
• Basic proficiency in scripting languages (Shell / Linux scripting).
• Experience utilizing various endpoint security tools.
