IT Engineer

Sporty Group seeks an experienced IT Engineer to manage its IT infrastructure and provide exceptional support to employees in Delhi. This role offers a daily opportunity to utilize and expand your technical skills across diverse IT systems, cloud services, and cutting-edge technologies within a fast-paced industry. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical assistance, advice, and training to users, resolving Tier 1 issues and escalating complex problems.
• Install, configure, and deploy computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of IT systems for optimal and reliable operations.
• Manage and maintain company IT assets and inventory systems.
• Administer corporate telecom and network systems, including topology, configuration, design, and security.
• Research and recommend technologies and best practices for our IT environment.
• Assist with Global IT and Security projects.
• Maintain essential IT operations including operating systems, security tools, VPN gateways, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware.
• Procure and manage IT assets, including laptops and other devices.
• Handle IT asset allocation for new hires and departing employees, both virtually and in-person.
• Create, manage, and deactivate email IDs, user accounts, and access to Office Automation and Security tools.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
• Lead IT helpdesk operations to support employees, ensuring prompt resolution of desktop application, workstation, and related equipment problems with minimal disruption.
• Maintain, repair, and upgrade systems and processes, including hardware and software.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in IT systems, network administration, and related technologies.
• Proficiency with firewalls, SDN, and network routing.
• Advanced knowledge of network technology and security principles.
• Advanced knowledge of SSO, MDM, and system provisioning in Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
• Advanced knowledge in managing cloud IT services and security.
• Strong understanding of systems and networking, with the ability to effectively implement computerised solutions.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and Mac operating systems.
• Solid understanding of IT administration best practices, system vulnerabilities, and security.
• Ability to think critically, analyze root causes, diagnose problems, and provide effective solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of employee IT issues.
• Flexibility for in-office work is required.
