About the Role

We are seeking an engaged Desktop Support Specialist to provide essential technical assistance for computer systems, hardware, and software within our Branchburg, NJ office. You will be the first point of contact for end users, ensuring seamless technology operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality first and second-level support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals across Windows 10/11 and macOS environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware failures, software conflicts, network connectivity issues (VPN, Wi-Fi), and printer malfunctions efficiently.
• Manage user accounts in Active Directory, handling logins, password resets, permissions, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Serve as the primary responder for tickets, phone calls, and walk-up requests with a focus on rapid resolution times.
• Install, configure, update operating systems, deploy software patches to enhance security, and replace defective components.
• Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets and document all incidents using our centralized ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow).

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience with 2+ years in desktop support.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365 suites and Windows operating systems (10/11).
• Solid expertise in Active Directory user management and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
