IT Data Analyst

Syneos Health is seeking an IT Data Analyst to join our leading biopharmaceutical solutions organization in Thane, Nagpur, and Mumbai. This pivotal role is responsible for upholding data quality, managing data pipelines, and providing essential operational support within our IT infrastructure, all aimed at accelerating customer success and optimizing our operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and interpret complex SQL queries, including joins and Common Table Expressions (CTEs), for data extraction and manipulation.
• Administer and oversee data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Gain understanding of integrations with Veeva CRM and Salesforce platforms.
• Implement and ensure data quality checks and business-level validations within ADF and Databricks data pipelines.
• Monitor and resolve data and pipeline-related issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Track system performance and reliability, troubleshoot issues, and guarantee data delivery meets committed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Demonstrate a robust understanding of Azure DevOps and Release Management processes, including Dev to Ops handovers.
• Work flexible shifts aligned with EST time zones (11:30 am IST - 8:30 pm IST and 4:30 pm IST - 2:30 am IST).
• Collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams to execute operational activities for various services.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• A full-time Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology, Computer Science, IT, or a related discipline.
• Hands-on experience in Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Must hold Azure DP-203 certification.
• Databricks certifications are highly desirable.
• Strong aptitude for collaboration and teamwork.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Core Technologies: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Dedicated SQL Pools, SQL, Python/PySpark.
• Supporting Technologies: Unity Catalog, Lakehouse Architecture.
• Beneficial Skills: Salesforce, JIRA, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Key Vault, Azure Automation.
