IT Data Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an IT Data Analyst in Pune to support our organization by analyzing, interpreting, and reporting critical data to facilitate informed business decisions. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT, and cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate delivery of data and insightful analysis. This role involves assisting in the design and maintenance of essential dashboards, reports, and analytical tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather, cleanse, and analyze data from diverse sources, ensuring its accuracy and consistency.
• Develop compelling dashboards, reports, and visualizations using industry-standard tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for efficient data extraction and manipulation.
• Support the monitoring and maintenance of data pipelines and databases.
• Partner with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Conduct root cause analysis for data discrepancies and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Provide support for operational reporting, tracking key performance metrics, and performing ad-hoc analyses.
• Document processes, insights, and analytical methodologies to ensure reproducibility.
• Uphold data governance policies and maintain stringent data security standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in IT data analysis, business intelligence, or a comparable role.
• Familiarity with enterprise data systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• A solid understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Proven experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R is preferred.
