IT Business Analyst

We are seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join our team in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. As an intermediate-level professional, you will be the crucial link between business stakeholders and the technology team, facilitating clear communication to understand and define system requirements. Your primary goal will be to drive continuous improvement by analyzing business performance and identifying opportunities for growth and optimization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Formulating system scope and project objectives based on thorough research.
• Analyzing business client needs, documenting requirements, and deriving test cases.
• Defining and analyzing process enhancements and supporting business process automation.
• Preparing reports, metrics, and presentations to effectively communicate insights between business units and IT.
• Identifying and assessing technological risks and their business implications.
• Testing systems to ensure they meet project requirements and developing solutions for identified issues.
• Translating business requirements into technical solutions and selecting appropriate technical approaches.
• Assessing and managing business risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and ethical standards.
• Creating user stories, supporting scrum ceremonies, and assisting with the intake and release processes.

The ideal candidate will possess 7-8 years of relevant experience, with strong skills in data analysis and the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of applicable business systems and industry standards is required, along with proven analytical, organizational, and presentation abilities. You should be comfortable managing a diverse project portfolio, have a passion for research and ideation, and understand business analysis concepts. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively, along with a willingness to work in night shifts, is also necessary.
