IoT Software Developer

About the Role

Join our Device Engineering Team (DET) as an IoT Edge Software Developer. You will build software connecting industrial machines, edge devices, and cloud platforms, enabling remote management at scale on Windows-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Tech Implementation: Develop secure, maintainable code; apply best practices; make technical decisions within scope.
  
  
• Delivery & Execution: Translate requirements into software aligned with sprint goals; manage tasks and estimates.
  
  
• Quality Standards: Write clean, testable code (TDD); participate in code reviews; follow DevOps/security practices.
  
  
• Support & Growth: Troubleshoot production issues; collaborate with QA/Product Owners; continuously improve skills.

You Will Have:

• Bachelor's/Master's in CS/SE or related field.
  Proficiency in C#/.NET and Python/scripting languages.
  Strong TDD experience.
  Hands-on with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps concepts.
  Familiarity with MQTT, OPC-UA protocols.
  Experience using AI coding tools responsibly.

Nice to Have:

• IoT, industrial automation, or edge computing experience.
  Azure IoTHub, Azure Functions, and firmware update mechanisms knowledge.
  Cybersecurity awareness for IoT environments.
