IoT Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IoT Engineer with 2–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, integrating, and deploying end-to-end IoT solutions. The ideal candidate will work seamlessly across IoT devices, sensors, embedded systems, communication protocols (MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), databases, and backend services to build reliable IoT ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate, and deploy end-to-end IoT solutions using ESP32, ESP8266, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, STM32, or equivalent platforms.
• Implement communication protocols including MQTT, TCP/IP, BLE, Wi-Fi, Modbus, and others to ensure robust device connectivity.
• Develop reliable data pipelines for collecting, processing, and storing sensor data in databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Create IoT monitoring dashboards (e.g., Grafana) for real-time status updates, alerts, and performance tracking.
• Troubleshoot hardware, firmware, network connectivity, API integrations, and security issues across the IoT stack.
• Work with Linux-based systems and edge computing environments to optimize device performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with backend software teams, AI/ML specialists, and operations groups.
• Evaluate emerging IoT technologies (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT, 5G) and recommend suitable hardware and protocols for specific use cases such as industrial IoT, asset tracking, or fleet monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

Candidates must possess a strong understanding of IoT architecture and device-to-cloud communication. Proficiency in Python, C/C++, Embedded C is essential. Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS IoT Core, Azure IoT Hub) and experience with Linux command-line tools are mandatory.
