IOS Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a robust framework for multiple iOS applications, emphasizing code reuse and scalability.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain iPhone applications using Swift and core iOS SDKs such as UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, and Core Location.
• Enhance app performance by optimizing memory usage, network requests, and overall responsiveness.
• Conduct thorough research and development to create proof-of-concepts for new business initiatives and stay abreast of emerging mobile technology trends.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow developers throughout the product lifecycle: conceptualization, building, testing, and realization.
• Create prototypes during the tech scoping phase and develop user-centric interfaces with a strong focus on usability.
• Debug, optimize applications, and manage post-launch support, including updates and bug fixes.
• Demonstrate strong object-oriented design and programming skills in Swift, with a solid understanding of HTTP/TCP-IP, data caching, and synchronization mechanisms.
• Drive continuous improvement of the codebase and mentor team members on best practices and design patterns.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in object-oriented design and programming using Swift.
• Familiarity with essential iOS SDK frameworks including UIKit, Cocoa Touch, Core Data, and Core Location.
• Hands-on experience with Xcode and the iOS build and deployment pipeline.
• Solid understanding of design patterns, debugging techniques, performance optimization, and networking protocols (HTTP, TCP/IP).
• Conceptual understanding of data caching, synchronization strategies, and offline data handling.
• Proven ability to build and maintain reusable components and frameworks.
• Excellent collaboration skills, particularly with design and product teams, and a strong commitment to user-centric design.
