iOS Engineer

About This Role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on mobile application development. In this role, you will act as a critical evaluator of AI-generated outputs related to iOS architecture, Swift programming, UI/UX implementation, and software engineering best practices.

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate & Annotate: Assess AI-generated code for technical correctness, maintainability, performance, scalability, and adherence to iOS best practices using Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Clean Architecture.
• Identify Flaws: Pinpoint coding errors, architectural weaknesses, security risks, and bottlenecks in AI-generated solutions for mobile apps.
• Create Deliverables: Develop structured feedback to improve AI performance in software development workflows, covering debugging strategies, testing methodologies, and release processes.

Key Requirements

• Experience: Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience in iOS Development or Mobile Application Engineering.
• Tech Stack: Strong proficiency in Swift and Objective-C; deep understanding of UIKit, SwiftUI, Auto Layout, MVVM/VIPER architectures, RESTful APIs, and mobile security.

Preferrable Qualifications

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, GitHub Actions), backend technologies (Firebase, Core Data), and accessibility standards.
• Experience building apps for the full Apple ecosystem (iPhone, iPad, Watch) or contributing to open-source projects.
