iOS Software Engineer — Digital Banking at Citi (Pune)

Citi is seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer to join a cross-functional Agile team. In this role, you will build and maintain customer-facing banking and credit card features for mobile platforms across the full software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop native Android applications delivering core banking features on digital channels.
• Translate designs into code using Java Spring Boot microservices with guidance from senior engineers.
• Create automated and manual test scripts using Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks.
• Leverage AI tools like GitHub Copilot for code generation, testing, and debugging.
• Promote accessibility compliance (ADA guidelines) through rigorous functional validation.
• Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams on CI/CD pipelines from requirements to deployment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years in application development with strong native iOS skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.
• Aptitude for writing secure, stable code and owning features from delivery to post-production support.

Premium Skills

• Familiarity with Angular or Android native development.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks like Selenium/Cucumber.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as OpenShift and AI-assisted dev tools.
