iOS Developer

Datacultr, a pioneering Digital Operating System for Risk Management and Debt Recovery, is seeking an experienced iOS Developer for its development center in Gurugram, India. Join us to drive collection efficiencies and reduce delinquencies for clients in Consumer Lending, Retail, Telecom, and Fintech.

As an iOS Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality iOS applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new features, ensuring app performance, quality, and responsiveness across devices. This role involves writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, integrating RESTful APIs, and staying abreast of the latest iOS frameworks and trends. We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong understanding of mobile architectures and proven experience in delivering scalable applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the iOS platform.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to define and deliver new features.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while following best practices.
• Ensure app performance, quality, and responsiveness across devices.
• Debug and resolve technical issues, crashes, and performance bottlenecks.
• Integrate RESTful APIs, third-party SDKs, and push notifications.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and mentor junior developers if required.
• Stay updated with the latest iOS frameworks, tools, and industry trends.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1 to 2 years of iOS software development experience with Swift and Objective C, Xcode and Interface Builder, and iOS internals.
• Knowledge of Cocoa Touch frameworks.
• Familiar with Core Location and Core Data.
• Knowledge in scripting languages like AppleScript.
• Understanding of iTunes Connect, provisioning, code-signing, and IPA/Build creation.
• Proficiency in profiling, debugging, and optimizing apps.
• Familiarity with unit testing, UI testing, and performance tuning.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and teamwork abilities.

Good to have:

• Ability to write responsive, graphically beautiful UI-centric, universal apps.
• Experience with App Groups and inter-app data sharing.
• Experience with implementation of RESTful APIs.
