iOS Developer

Shunya Ekai Technologies is seeking a talented Robotics Engineer to join our expanding team in India. This role focuses on the implementation and development of robotic systems, leveraging your expertise in ROS 1 and ROS 2.

Responsibilities

• Implement ROS packages and algorithms for mapping, localization, sensor fusion, and navigation.
• Utilize intermediate knowledge of Robotics, Robotic Operating Systems (ROS1, ROS2), multi-threaded applications, SLAM, and VSLAM. Experience with LIDAR and Depth cameras is a plus.
• Apply strong knowledge of Gazebo, URDF Models, Manipulation, Motion Planning, and Robot Navigation.
• Work with hardware including motors, encoders, drivers, and micro-controllers such as At-mega 8, Arduino (At-mega 320P), and Raspberry Pi or other single-board computers.
• Utilize knowledge of communication protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, TCP/IP, MQTT, and HTTP.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Python/C++ or any scripting language, Image/Video processing, and Machine learning/Deep learning algorithms.
• Communicate technical ideas clearly and efficiently, even to non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate effectively with engineers from various departments.
• Apply a strong command of mathematics relevant to robotics, including Probability, Algebra, and Calculus.
• Possess expertise in ROS2, ROS1, Motion Planning, and Navigation Stacks.
• Familiarity with Electrical Hardware (Motors, Drivers, Controllers, Arduino) is essential.
• Computer Vision and Machine Learning knowledge are beneficial but not mandatory.
• Exhibit excellent knowledge of sensors used in robotics.
• Proficiency in Python and C/C++ is required.
• Must have at least 1 year of professional working experience as a Robotics Engineer.
