About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, highly enthusiastic iOS engineer to join our Checkout and Payment Experience Team. This team builds critical, high-impact, scalable checkout and payment platforms. Our engineers take ownership of technology decisions while fostering a successful engineering culture at this fast-growing company.

Our stack includes Amazon Web Services, GraphQL, GoLang, NodeJS, Swift, Kotlin, CircleCI, Kubernetes, Harness, Terraform, LaunchDarkly, and Datadog.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and debug the StockX iOS app using Swift and UIKit.
• Build GraphQL APIs interacting with backend services and REST APIs.
• Utilize MVVM architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Stay up-to-date on technology changes (Swift, Xcode, Mac OS, iOS devices).
• Work on initiatives from start to finish including A/B testing.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, program managers, and engineering managers to crystallize requirements and propose resilient technical solutions that scale.
• Afficiently break up large system designs and guide junior team members in component design.
• Propose best engineering practices, foster a growth mindset culture, and contribute to sprint outcomes.
• Apply considerations around security, scalability, reliability, performance, technology alternatives, and tradeoffs.
