ION is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Security Analyst to join our dynamic IT & Information Security department in Pune. In this full-time, permanent role, you will be instrumental in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of our information systems. Your responsibilities will include monitoring security alerts, conducting threat hunting and vulnerability assessments, performing regular security audits, and analyzing security breaches to implement corrective actions. You will manage security alerts from our Group-Wide CSIRT and various security tools, configure and maintain security technologies such as SIEM and endpoint security, and develop/implement security policies and procedures. Collaboration with Engineering teams to integrate security into product delivery and providing security best practices recommendations will be key. Staying updated with the latest security trends and presenting reports on security incidents are also core duties. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science or Information Technology with an Information Security specialization, 3+ years of proven experience as a Security Analyst, strong knowledge of security protocols and systems, and fundamental programming/scripting capabilities (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash). Experience with security tools (firewalls, IDS, antivirus), familiarity with regulatory requirements (GDPR, ISO 27001), excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills are essential. Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus.
