ION is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Information Security Analyst to join our dynamic team in Delhi, Kolkata, or Mumbai. As an Information Security Analyst, you will be instrumental in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, ensuring the utmost integrity and confidentiality of our information systems. Your responsibilities will include:

• Monitoring and promptly responding to security alerts and potential threats.
• Conducting threat hunting, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate security weaknesses.
• Performing regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Analyzing security breaches to determine root causes and implement effective corrective actions, including isolating, containing, responding to, and recovering from incidents.
• Identifying, prioritizing, and coordinating the remediation of vulnerabilities.
• Managing security alerts from the Group-Wide CSIRT, security tools, and technologies (e.g., endpoint security, network security, IDR, DLP, SIEM).
• Configuring and maintaining essential security technologies such as SIEM, endpoint security, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, potentially involving scripting and automation.
• Developing and implementing robust security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Reviewing systems and configurations for compliance with ION standards, client requirements, audit controls, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Responding to information security-related inquiries and requests.
• Collaborating with Engineering teams and other functions to embed security into all aspects of product delivery and organizational operations.
• Providing training and security best practice recommendations to internal teams.
• Staying abreast of the latest security trends, technologies, and emerging threats.
• Preparing and presenting comprehensive reports on security incidents and mitigation efforts to management.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, with a specialization in Information Security.
• A minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Security Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of security protocols, systems, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in fundamental programming/scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with security tools including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards like GDPR and ISO 27001.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are considered a significant advantage.

This is a full-time, permanent role within our IT & Information Security department, categorized as IT Security.
