Interior Engineer

Orange Elephant Interiors, a leading interior fit-out and manufacturing company in Chennai, is seeking a dedicated Interior Site Engineer for a full-time, on-site role. This position involves overseeing all site activities, managing construction workflows, implementing rigorous quality control measures, and ensuring strict adherence to project timelines. The Interior Site Engineer will be responsible for coordinating with various teams, interpreting project drawings, supervising civil and structural engineering work, and upholding all safety standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to contribute to impactful projects within the Chennai region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
• Coordinate effectively with project teams, clients, and vendors.
• Interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Oversee civil and structural engineering aspects of interior fit-out projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in on-site management and construction supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of quality control practices in construction.
• Expertise in structural and civil engineering principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction projects is required.
• Preference will be given to candidates residing in Chennai.

Salary Budget: INR 20,000 - 32,000 per month.

Experience Required: Minimum 2 years.

Location: Chennai, India (On-site role).
