About This Role

McKesson is seeking an Integration Engineer - FCS to design, develop, and support enterprise interoperability solutions enabling secure healthcare data exchange across clinical, operational, and third-party systems. You will combine expertise in HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, REST APIs, and InterSystems HealthConnect technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and support integrations using InterSystems HealthConnect, Ensemble, and IRIS.
Develop HL7 v2.x interfaces (ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU) and FHIR/SMART on FHIR APIs.
Implement message transformation, orchestration, routing, and exception handling with JSON/XML.
Troubleshoot interface failures and monitor platforms for reliability using GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
4+ years designing healthcare integrations, HL7 v2.x standards, FHIR APIs, and HIPAA-regulated system troubleshooting.
In-depth knowledge of InterSystems HealthConnect, OAuth security, SQL/ODBC/JDBC, and oncology/provider environments preferred.
