Instrumentation Engineer - Gas Turbine System

We are seeking a skilled Instrumentation Engineer with expertise in Gas Turbine Systems for our Chennai, India location.

Key Responsibilities and Knowledge Areas:

• Proficiency in Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), process instruments, and datasheets.
• Experience with hazardous area mapping.
• Skills in instrument sizing and selection.
• Familiarity with instrument indexes, IO lists, and load lists.
• Knowledge of instrument junction boxes (JB), cable schedules, and procurement processes.
• Understanding of skid and conduit wiring, and single flow diagrams.
• Expertise in control and power cable gland sizing.
• Competence in cable conduit and tray layout sizing.
• Understanding of compliance standards including ATEX, IEC, and NEC.

Required Experience:

• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in Electrical Systems.
• Experience within the Oil and Gas industry.
• Experience in preparing Modification Kits (Mod Kit) and Field Material Instructions (FMI).
• Proficiency in the Engineering Change Request (ECR) process.
