Inside Sales Specialist - Seller Rocket (Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu)
About the Role
Seller Rocket is seeking a motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Specialist to join our expanding e-commerce agency team in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in identifying, engaging, and converting prospective clients, particularly e-commerce brands and online retailers, into valuable long-term agency partners. As the initial point of contact for prospects, you will play a crucial part in propelling revenue growth for our agency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation & Prospecting: Proactively generate and qualify leads through outbound calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach, and inbound inquiries. Conduct thorough research to identify e-commerce businesses that can significantly benefit from our agency's specialized services such as SEO, paid advertising, marketplace management, design, and development.
- Sales Outreach & Follow-Up: Execute strategic outreach sequences across various communication channels. Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects to cultivate relationships and effectively guide them through the sales funnel.
- Discovery & Needs Assessment: Conduct in-depth discovery calls to gain a comprehensive understanding of a prospect's business model, key challenges, strategic goals, and their current marketing and technology stack. Skillfully tailor pitches to address their specific needs.
- Proposal & Pitch Support: Collaborate closely with senior account managers and solution architects to develop bespoke proposals, compelling presentations, and customized service packages tailored for prospective clients.
- CRM Management: Ensure accurate and up-to-date record-keeping within our CRM system (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce). Diligently track all communications, pipeline stages, and deal progression.
- Collaboration: Work in tandem with marketing, operations, and delivery teams to facilitate a seamless client onboarding process post-sale. Effectively relay client feedback to contribute to the continuous improvement of our service offerings.
- Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including the number of calls made, demos booked, proposals sent, and revenue closed.
Requirements
- Experience: Possess 2 to 4 years of inside sales experience, with a strong preference for backgrounds in digital agencies, SaaS, or the e-commerce sector.
- E-commerce Knowledge: Demonstrate a solid understanding of major e-commerce platforms (e.g., Flipkart, Amazon) and essential digital marketing services, including PPC, SEO, social media, and email marketing.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with the capacity to articulate value propositions clearly and confidently to a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of successfully meeting and exceeding sales targets. Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies, effective objection handling, and proven closing techniques.
- Tech Savviness: Comfortable and proficient in utilizing CRM tools, sales automation platforms, Google Workspace, and video conferencing applications.
- Self-Motivation: Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple prospects concurrently with a high degree of autonomy and minimal supervision.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in selling agency retainer services or comprehensive digital marketing packages.
- Proficiency in additional regional languages such as Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
- Prior experience working with Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) or Business-to-Consumer (B2C) e-commerce brands.

Compensation & Benefits
Pay: ₹12,109.98 - ₹44,729.96 per month
