Roles and Responsibilities
- Generate new opportunities with existing customers through upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records meticulously.
- Identify and acquire new customers through lead follow-up and cold calling.
- Conduct thorough research on potential customers to understand their needs.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Build strong relationships and gain a deep understanding of customer requirements.
- Gather customer feedback to inform new feature or product development and explore methods to enhance customer engagement.
- Maintain and update the lead generation database.
- Follow up diligently on all leads and inquiries.
- Verify and track accounts using the firm's CRM system.
- Perform necessary follow-up calls to nurture leads and close deals.
- Conduct effective sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Prepare and deliver sales reports, analyze sales data, and provide regular updates to the sales manager.
Qualifications and Skills Required
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, such as telecalling, pre-sales, or inside sales.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a solid understanding of sales techniques and strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, robust research capabilities, and essential analytical skills.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Kannada.
- A degree in any discipline is acceptable, provided there is a foundational knowledge of sales.
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools, including Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to forecast sales accurately.
- Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
