Position Summary
We are seeking an Infrastructure Security Engineer - PKI Level 2 for our Device Management team with 2 to 5 years of experience. The role involves administration and business-as-usual (BAU) operations for internal and external PKI deployments. The engineer will manage the PKI infrastructure using administration software like AD Certificate Services and AppViewX. Candidates should be proficient in Change and Incident Management processes and willing to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strong proficiency in Cryptography and the usage of private and public keys.
- Strong understanding and experience in certificate lifecycle management (SSL/TLS certificate issuance, renewals, and revocations).
- Understanding and hands-on experience with various methods of CSR generation on platforms like Windows, Linux, and appliances, identifying certificate needs in applications.
- Educating stakeholders on appropriate certificate requirements (e.g., multi-domain, wildcard certificates).
- Identifying business requirements and issuing certificates from internal CAs (MSPKI) and external CAs (Sectigo) for various service applications.
- Extensive working knowledge of configurations and maintenance of Certificate Lifecycle Management (CLM) tools, preferably AppViewX.
- Experience in maintenance and support of PKI infrastructure, including CA server operations, CRL publishing, and template management.
- Ability to track and resolve issues through coordination with various working groups.
- Working knowledge of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) and their maintenance/support.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for PKI processes and procedures.
- Providing guidance to other IT staff and end-users on PKI-related topics.
- Understanding of ITIL processes.
- Understanding and experience with incident, change, and service request management on ServiceNow.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in administration and BAU of internal and external PKI deployments.
- Experience managing PKI infrastructure via administration software such as AD Certificate Services and AppViewX.
- Proficiency in Change and Incident Management processes and willingness to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
