[Infra] Staff/Lead Software Enginee...

About the Role

The Compute Platform team operates a mission-critical private cloud infrastructure supporting every product at Agoda, managing over one million cores across global data centers. We are seeking an experienced Staff/Lead Software Engineer to take technical ownership of our in-house orchestration stack (ACP) and fleet lifecycle tooling.

What You'll Do

• Own and evolve the architecture of ACP, including orchestrators, agents, and CLIs for managing dedicated-resource virtual machines on bare metal.
• Design, build, and operate compute and fleet tooling in Go (and Python), interfacing with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and out-of-band hardware management APIs.
• Lead medium to large projects across Fleet, Compute Platform, and adjacent teams from design through delivery.
• Troubleshoot product and system issues at scale across multiple global data centers using agentic coding tools as part of our standard workflow.

Requirements

We are looking for a senior hands-on individual contributor with 10+ years of software engineering experience. You must have strong distributed systems skills in Go, proven experience owning control planes or orchestrators at scale, and practical knowledge of Kubernetes production environments. Clear written and verbal English is required.
