We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Support Specialist for a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai, India. This role is crucial for providing comprehensive technical support and resolving IT-related issues within our organization. Key responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware and software problems, managing desktop environments, and ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our IT systems. Effective collaboration with various teams and maintaining a high-functioning technical environment are essential for success in this role. The ideal candidate will possess 1 to 4 years of experience and be proficient in maintaining and supporting IT infrastructure, network connectivity, servers, and CCTV systems. You will also be responsible for end-user support for hardware, software, printers, and network challenges, along with user onboarding, Active Directory administration, system access management, and domain joining. Installation and support of department-specific and VFX/software applications, daily data backups, storage monitoring, and ensuring endpoint security, antivirus updates, and IT security policy compliance are also key duties. Furthermore, you will manage IT assets, inventory, and device tracking, and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and maintenance. Assisting with audits, documentation, and continuous service improvement initiatives will round out your responsibilities.
