Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Information Security Analyst to lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of our organization's security infrastructure and operations. This role demands ownership of security processes, hands-on experience with security tools (EDR, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis), and a deep understanding of security technologies like EDR, WAF, IPS, SIEM, and firewalls. The ideal candidate will analyze logs, detect threats, investigate incidents, audit web applications, and advise on security best practices.

Key responsibilities include:

• Building and managing security infrastructure from scratch, ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Monitoring infrastructure for suspicious activity and implementing security controls.
• Analyzing security incidents, identifying root causes, and collaborating with the Incident Response team to neutralize threats.
• Auditing websites and web applications for vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
• Staying updated on emerging threats and recommending security improvements to management.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security, with hands-on experience in setting up and managing security solutions.
• Proven expertise with EDR, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of security technologies (EDR, WAF, IPS, SIEM, firewalls) and basic IT technologies (Windows/Linux, Active Directory).
• Cloud security knowledge is a plus.
• Entry-level security certifications are a strong advantage.
• Critical thinking, analytical skills, and excellent verbal/written communication.
• Adaptability, teamwork, and strong organizational/time management skills.
