Information Security Analyst

We are seeking a qualified Information Security Analyst to join our team in Chennai, India (Remote). This role is responsible for the operation and administration of the organization's enterprise security solutions and processes, including investigating and responding to security events and requests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform network security monitoring and incident response, maintaining detailed records.
• Monitor and analyze Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to identify and remediate security issues.
• Configure, schedule, and review vulnerability scans.
• Coordinate account and access reviews.
• Gather evidence for compliance audits.
• Develop and refine SIEM policy rule sets using simplified matches or regex.
• Generate reports and analyze data for indicators of compromise.
• Recognize and investigate potential and successful intrusion attempts and compromises.
• Consolidate and analyze threat data from various sources to provide indication and warnings of impending attacks.
• Interface professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
• Respond to security tickets within documented Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Be readily available to handle incoming support requests promptly.
• Communicate alerts regarding intrusions and compromises to relevant teams.
• Assist with the implementation of countermeasures and mitigating controls.
• Prepare briefings and reports on analysis methodologies and results.
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and security practices.
• Resolve problems independently and follow documented escalation procedures.
• Recommend improvements to Standard Operating Procedures and related documentation.
• Generate end-of-shift reports for documentation and knowledge transfer.

This position involves handling Personal Health Information (PHI) and/or Sensitive Personal Information (SPI), requiring compliance with all applicable laws and internal policies.
