Information Security Analyst

Flexera is seeking an Information Security Analyst to join the Secunia Research department in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This role is essential for delivering accurate, high-quality vulnerability intelligence to our global customer base. The successful candidate will analyze and verify vulnerability data, support the Product Security Incident Response Team (PSIRT), and ensure the integrity of our security content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Filter and analyze incoming vulnerability data from automated systems.
• Conduct deep-dive research into software and hardware vulnerabilities across web applications, open-source, and binary environments.
• Curate and structure technical advisories following strict quality standards.
• Perform peer reviews to maintain a zero-error threshold for security content.
• Assist PSIRT in prioritizing and resolving security incidents.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and data aggregation skills with a keen focus on quality and detail.
• Deep interest in vulnerability research, security best practices, and threat intelligence.
• Excellent reading comprehension with the ability to interpret technical documentation and identify inconsistencies.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks, specifically regarding zero-day vulnerability management.
• Self-driven, persistent, and capable of working in a high-accuracy, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Basic programming proficiency (e.g., Python) for data processing and workflow automation.
• Prior experience or exposure to vulnerability research methodologies.
