Information Security Analyst - Microsoft E5 Suite Expertise

Join Levi Strauss in Bengaluru as an Information Security Analyst with a strong focus on Microsoft security technologies. This role is pivotal in strengthening our enterprise security posture across the comprehensive Microsoft E5 suite, encompassing Defender, Intune, Purview, Sentinel, and Azure AD.

You will be instrumental in safeguarding our users, data, and endpoints, working closely with senior engineers to design and improve our detection, prevention, and response capabilities. Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and investigate identity, endpoint, and cloud threats using Microsoft 365 Defender tools, including Defender for Identity, Defender for Endpoint, and Defender for Cloud Apps.
• Configure and maintain Conditional Access policies and multi-factor authentication (MFA) to ensure secure access across the organization.
• Support and enhance endpoint and mobile device security through Microsoft Intune, managing compliance policies and integrating with Conditional Access.
• Collaborate with compliance and governance teams to implement Microsoft Purview for data classification, data loss prevention (DLP), and insider risk management.
• Assist in alert triage and incident investigation leveraging Microsoft Sentinel and Defender analytics.
• Contribute to the development of security baselines, configurations, and essential documentation.
• Stay abreast of emerging Microsoft security capabilities and evolving threat methodologies.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 to 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security operations, or identity and access management.
• Practical experience with Microsoft 365 Defender components or equivalent E5 security technologies.
• Working knowledge of: Azure AD Conditional Access and MFA, Microsoft Intune device or app management, Microsoft Purview data protection and DLP concepts, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM) or privileged access workflows.
• Familiarity with identity protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Microsoft certifications including SC-200, SC-300, or AZ-500.
• Experience utilizing Microsoft Sentinel for log analysis and alert management.
• Basic scripting experience (e.g., PowerShell) for automation and reporting purposes.
• Exposure to hybrid or cloud-first enterprise environments.
