Information Management Data Analyst in Navi Mumbai, India

Bechtel Corporation is seeking an Information Management Data Analyst for a full-time office/project role in Navi Mumbai, India. This position is authorized for national relocation (single status) and requires working full-time in an office or on a project site. The role is part of the Project Information Management Team, collaborating with engineering and related disciplines to ensure the quality, completeness, and consistency of project data for internal functions and client handover. Responsibilities include monitoring progress, resolving data quality issues, and executing workflows for client handover data templates. The analyst will assist in implementing an Integrated Data Environment (IDE) with data security, maintaining databases, and processing data from engineering design tools, procurement systems, and vendor templates. Key tasks involve performing data analysis on engineering data for consistency, developing data management KPI reports, extracting data from authoring SmartPlant Engineering applications, and helping develop algorithms for engineering data validation before publishing to an Asset Digital Twin. The role also includes executing project data information management reports, supporting client information management deliverables, and ensuring change management procedures are implemented.

Project Context:

This role is within a significant project to provide Project Management Consultant (PMC) Services and Engineering Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM) Services for offsites and utilities (OSBL) for a multi-billion-dollar upgrade/expansion of existing petrochemical facilities in India, in partnership with Reliance. The project aims to augment petrochemical facilities in Dahej, Gujarat, and Nagothane, Maharashtra, to expand PVC capacity. PMC services will be led from India with personnel deployed in the Mumbai region, project sites, and contractor locations. EPCM services for OSBL will be managed from Bechtel's India offices. Positions will initially be assigned in Navi Mumbai, Dahej, or Nagothane.

Qualifications:

• Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledgeable in data quality, data integration, data governance, and master data management.
• Experience and/or understanding of data modeling.
• Familiarity with Hexagon SmartPlant Suite (SP3D, SPPID, SPI, SPEL) and Bechtel's EPC applications (Setroute, BCSTools, TeamWorks, DSCS, Aconex).
• Hands-on experience in data extraction from non-SmartPlant engineering applications is a plus.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as SQL, Python, PowerShell.
• Software development experience in .NET, Java, C++, or similar is a plus.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Power BI, SSRS.
• Familiar with Database Design/Administration and SQL programming for Oracle/SQL Server.
• Experience with scheduled tasks, batch jobs, and Extract Transform Load (ETL) process management.
• Strong MS Excel skills and experience with Excel/CSV output and loading to Oracle/SQL Server.
• Construction domain experience, including data management.
• Knowledge of construction applications like TeamWorks and SmartCompletions is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities.
• Experience in multiple Bechtel Global Business Units is a plus.
