Informatica MDM CAI CDI consultant

About the Job

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement solutions using Informatica CAI and CDI to meet business requirements.
• Build and optimize API-based integrations using Cloud Application Integration (CAI).
• Implement and manage integrations between MDM SaaS (Product 360, Reference 360, Business 360) and other enterprise systems.
• Develop and manage approval workflows (create/update) in Product 360 via CAI.
• Work with AMQP-based messaging systems for queue-based and event-driven integrations.
• Integrate Informatica solutions with SAP systems (ECC/S4/HANA).
• Develop ETL/ELT workflows and mappings in Cloud Data Integration (CDI).
• Work on data pipelines, transformations, and real-time integrations across multiple systems.
• Ensure performance tuning, error handling, and monitoring for seamless integration processes.
• Work with MDM (Master Data Management) to integrate and manage enterprise master data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Informatica integrations.
• Document technical designs, best practices, and guidelines for future reference.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6 to 10 years of experience in Informatica Cloud (IICS), specializing in CAI (Cloud Application Integration) and CDI (Cloud Data Integration).
• At least 3-4 years of hands-on experience in Informatica CAI (Cloud Application Integration).
• Strong hands-on experience with Service Connectors, App Connectors, and Process Objects.
• 2-3 years of experience in Informatica MDM SaaS (Master Data Management SaaS).
• Proven experience in building workflow approvals (create/update) in Product 360 integrated via CAI.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in CDI (Cloud Data Integration) and related tools.
• Strong expertise in REST/SOAP APIs, Service Orchestration, and Event-driven architecture.
• Experience in developing serverless and event-driven integrations.
• Proficiency in mapping, transformations, and complex workflows in CDI.
• Hands-on experience with data warehousing, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Understanding of MDM concepts and data governance is a plus.
• Good understanding of AMQP messaging/queue mechanisms.
• Experience in integrating with SAP systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Production Support & Monitoring:

• Provide production support for Informatica CAI/CDI/MDM applications.
• Monitor and troubleshoot jobs, workflows, and API integrations to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze failures, performance issues, and errors, and take corrective actions.
• Work with incident management teams to resolve critical production issues within SLAs.
• Create and maintain runbooks, monitoring scripts, and automation for production stability.
• Implement logging, alerts, and proactive monitoring for better issue resolution.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to Product 360 workflow configurations and governance processes.
• Experience with event-driven and asynchronous integrations using messaging systems.
• Familiarity with SAP integration patterns and connectors.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and deployment automation for integration solutions.
