Full Job Description
Alstom seeks a full-time Project Industrialization Engineer (Services) for its operations in New Delhi, India. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless industrialization of maintenance, renovation/modernization, and warranty activities across depots, repair centres, and production sites. The engineer will collaborate closely with various internal teams, including Depot Managers, Fleet Management & Engineering, and Supply Chain, to define industrial documentation and processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include developing industrial deliverables such as macro-processes, work instructions, and Bill of Materials, supporting training plan implementation, and validating industrial means on-site. The role requires leadership in industrializing technical documentation, defining and implementing industrial processes and tools, and adapting these processes to project changes while ensuring compliance with railway safety, EHS, and AZDP standards. The engineer will also contribute to optimizing productivity, quality, and safety through continuous improvement and sharing best practices.
The ideal candidate will possess a graduate engineering degree (BE/BTech in Electrical or Mechanical) with over 5 years of experience in the railway industry, specifically within maintenance or production environments. Familiarity with industrialization tools, methods, and techniques, along with experience in implementing Quality, Safety, and Environmental systems is essential. Proficiency in SAP, AutoCAD, and Catia, as well as strong IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), is required. Fluency in English is mandatory, and knowledge of additional languages is a plus. Desirable experience includes rolling stock maintenance, lean manufacturing, or depot equipment commissioning.
