Full Job Description
Hewlett-Packard (HP) is seeking a talented Electrical & Control Systems Engineer for its operations in Noida, India. This role is crucial for our oil and gas drilling equipment and processes, focusing on general electrical systems, power management, cable and wiring, sensors, control system implementation, motors and drives, and regulatory compliance (API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE). The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnostics, and signal analysis, working collaboratively with a team of experts in engineering, domain knowledge, business development, design, and analytics. A strong customer-centric approach is essential for driving innovation and delivering differentiated value.

Requirements
- Proficiency in numerical computing and data simulation using tools like MATLAB/Simulink, ETAP, SKM, or SCADA.
- Experience in PLC programming and/or high-level programming languages (C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.).
- Ability to create and interpret logic and flow diagrams and schematics for system design, programming, simulation, testing, and startup.
- Prior experience in power systems, energy management, energy storage, microgrids, and ESG.
- Capability to work with multiple engineering disciplines and operational groups.
- Excellent professional and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience in oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, food processing, or similar industries.
- Hands-on field experience with power and control systems is advantageous.
- Configuration and programming experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) is a plus.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 2 to 10 years of professional experience.

- Proactive: Take initiative to resolve issues collaboratively, innovate new approaches, and aggressively meet customer requirements.
- Detail-Oriented: Ensure designs, implementations, and tests are thorough and accurate, and user stories are fully defined with the product owner before starting work.
