IND Staff Software Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Staff Software Engineer to join our agile team. You will collaborate with architects and business partners to design and develop new capabilities for existing applications, aligning solutions with architectural standards and industry trends. Your work will focus on enhancing customer experience, accelerating time-to-market, and ensuring scalable support of the Strategic Roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain end-to-end solutions using Java, Oracle, UNIX, Microservices, JMS, XML, JSON, and JDBC.
• Develop robust Web Services (SOAP/REST) leveraging Java Spring Boot or Apache Camel with a shift-left security approach.
• Cultivate a full-stack engineering mindset: build APIs, deploy on AWS for cloud migration, and apply front-end skills using Angular or React.
• Create scalable, secure, and cost-efficient software architecture patterns while participating in security assessments.
• Engage with billing and premium audit teams for maintenance, production support, and cloud initiatives.
• Apply DevSecOps practices utilizing CI/CD tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, uDeploy, Rally, and Checkmarx.
• Mentor team members as a technical subject matter expert in development best practices.
