• Own design, development, unit/integration testing, implementation, and support for assigned components within enterprise Employee Benefits applications.
• Design and maintain .NET Framework and .NET Core / .NET 8 services, APIs, backend components, and batch jobs.
• Translate business and technical requirements into secure, maintainable application modules and APIs.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly to accelerate coding, test generation, documentation, analysis, and refactoring while validating quality, security, and compliance.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including estimation, feature/story refinement, demos, retrospectives, and production readiness discussions.
• Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, architects, QA/SDET, UX, platform, DevOps, and business partners to deliver outcomes, not just code.
• Partner with Java/API, Angular/UI, and QA/SDET engineers when the same business capability spans BFF, domain APIs, UI, integrations, and batch platforms.
• Perform peer code reviews and contribute to engineering standards for code quality, testing, security, accessibility, observability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot production/non-production issues using logs, monitoring dashboards, traces, database analysis, and structured root-cause thinking.
• Support modernization and reverse-engineering of legacy .NET assets, utilizing analysis, tests, documentation, and AI-assisted tools to reduce SME dependency.
