Nova 401(k) Associates, a dynamic and expanding national third-party retirement plan administration firm, is seeking an Implementation Specialist. This crucial role focuses on the seamless onboarding of new clients, ensuring an exceptional client and advisor experience throughout the plan implementation phase. The Implementation Specialist will act as a key liaison, facilitating communication and coordination between clients, advisors, and platform providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an outstanding client and advisor experience during the retirement plan implementation process.
- Proactively request and coordinate the collection of essential data, including census information, plan documents, prior compliance testing, and IRS forms from clients and external professionals.
- Serve as the primary point of contact, bridging communication between clients, financial advisors, and platform providers during plan implementation.
- Meticulously review plan adoption agreements and complete all necessary plan provision paperwork for various platform providers.
- Provide clear assistance to clients regarding plan provisions, ensuring a foundational understanding of plan operation.
- Actively participate in weekly meetings with clients, financial professionals, and platform providers to effectively manage plan timelines and milestones.
- Configure internal systems and accurately input client information into our compliance software.
- Execute all responsibilities in strict adherence to Nova 401(k) Associates' established policies and procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- A minimum of five years of dedicated experience in retirement plan implementation and onboarding.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage workload and achieve weekly goals in a results-oriented environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for clear and concise interactions.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, and the capacity to multitask efficiently.
- A high level of critical thinking to address complex situations and find effective solutions.
- A coachable attitude with a commitment to continuous professional development; industry certifications are highly valued.
