IaC & Automation Sr Consultant

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced IaC & Automation Sr Consultant with deep expertise in infrastructure and platform automation. The ideal candidate must possess hands-on experience developing robust automation solutions, configuration management systems, Linux administration, and scalable infrastructure architecture.

Mandatory Skills

• IaC Tools: Ansible, Terraform, or Chef
• Programming Languages: Python, GoLang, Ruby, Java (Essential)
• Infrastructure & Platform Automation Strategies
• REST API Integration & Workflow Automation
• Linux Administration & Shell Scripting Expertise
• Configuration Management Tool Mastery
• End-to-End Infrastructure Solution Design & Architecture
• Storage (SAN/NAS), Network Fundamentals, and Security Concepts
• Team Leadership & Complex Solutioning Experience

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and develop advanced automation scripts utilizing Ansible, Python, GoLang, Ruby.
2. Spearhead the implementation and management of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions.
3. Create, maintain, and optimize complex automation workflows and configuration processes.
4. Seamlessly integrate automation tools with RESTful APIs for dynamic operations.
5. Manage, secure, and optimize Linux-based infrastructure environments at scale.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve high-complexity automation issues across heterogeneous systems.
7. Foster collaboration between Development, Operations (DevOps), and Security teams.
8. Mentor junior team members and provide strategic technical guidance.
9. Architect documentation for frameworks ensuring long-term maintainability.

• Bash & PowerShell Scripting Proficiency
• Virtualization Platforms: VMware, Red Hat, Microsoft Virtualization

Candidate Disqualifiers

We specifically exclude candidates who are:

• AWS/Azure DevOps Engineers with only cloud deployment experience lacking programming expertise.
• Pure System Administrators without automation/coding backgrounds.
• Test Automation Engineers specializing solely in software testing frameworks.
