Full Job Description
Join Commonwealth Bank in Bengaluru East, Karnataka, India, as a Human Resources Business Partnering Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting our employees' financial wellbeing and progress. As a trusted advisor, you will collaborate with Business and related HR Teams on key areas including Performance Management, Talent Review, Remuneration Review, HR Reporting, WPR (Workforce Planning & Reporting) matters, policy application, Risk & Governance, and the Well-being Framework. You will also contribute to cross-functional projects, providing immense opportunities to learn and adapt.
Reporting to the Executive Manager – Human Resources Business Partnering India, your responsibilities will encompass executing and administering core HR processes such as reward and recognition, performance management cycles, talent reviews, attrition and retention strategies, pulse surveys, employee experience initiatives, promotions, progressions, and internal movements. You will prepare, analyze, and share HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to inform talent and people decision-making.
Your skills in supporting People Managers with career and development discussions, coordinating with CBA India HR and Global HR teams for process implementation, and organizing employee engagement initiatives will be crucial. You will provide administrative and operational support during organizational changes, draft employee documentation, and ensure process compliance. Generating and sharing data insights, responding to employee and manager queries on HR policies, and identifying process improvements are also key components of this role.
We are seeking candidates with 8-10 years of HR Business Partnering experience managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle. Essential qualifications include strong working knowledge of HR policies, best practices, and employment law; proven analytical and problem-solving skills with HR data experience; advanced Excel and data analysis skills; experience with HR case management systems; and hands-on experience in performance management, including PIPs. Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, facilitation, presentation, and storyboarding skills are vital, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong written, verbal, and active listening skills, with a collaborative yet independent work style, are expected.
Educational background preferred includes a master’s degree in HR, ideally complemented by a bachelor’s degree in engineering from a Tier-one college. A proactive, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and learning is highly valued.
