Human Resources Business Partner
Full Job Description
About the Role: Human Resources Business Partner at Chargebee
Chargebee, a globally recognized subscription management and revenue growth platform, is scaling rapidly. Our success is intrinsically linked to our ability to cultivate strong leaders, foster effective teams, and build a resilient organizational culture, making these areas a key competitive advantage rather than just a support function.
This HR Business Partner role is designed to be a strategic ally to our business leaders. You will be instrumental in addressing significant business challenges, including organizational inefficiencies, leadership development needs, retention risks, and scaling obstacles, by leveraging people-centric strategies. This position demands a high degree of ownership, sound judgment, and the confidence to navigate ambiguity.
Your primary focus will be on enhancing organizational effectiveness, not merely executing HR processes. You will be a driver of positive change and operational excellence within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate with senior leaders to align people strategies with overarching business objectives and to diagnose and resolve complex organizational challenges.
- Performance & Talent Management: Oversee performance management cycles, identify high-potential talent, support professional growth, and address underperformance effectively.
- Leadership Coaching: Empower managers to build high-performing teams, enhance their feedback capabilities, and improve overall leadership effectiveness.
- Organizational Design & Planning: Provide support for organizational structure development, workforce planning, and hiring initiatives that align with long-term strategic goals.
- Employee Experience: Utilize data analytics and feedback mechanisms to drive improvements in employee engagement, retention, and overall team health.
- Change Management: Guide teams through periods of growth, restructuring, and uncertainty by providing practical and actionable solutions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage insights derived from people data to influence strategic actions and achieve tangible business outcomes.
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within the SaaS or product industry.
- Demonstrated strong business acumen, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence key stakeholders.
- Proficiency in coaching managers and adeptness at handling sensitive employee relations situations.
- A data-driven approach with sound judgment and decision-making capabilities.
- Mindset: Possess high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, a pragmatic outlook, and a willingness to challenge the status quo to drive improvement.
