About the Role

As an HR Business Partner at Tech Mahindra, you will be instrumental in fostering strong relationships with business stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include developing robust mechanisms for performance management, driving associate engagement and development, providing counseling, and ensuring adherence to HR practices and guidelines. You will gain a deep understanding of business requirements to collaborate closely with Delivery leadership, offering bespoke HR solutions that align with organizational objectives. This role is based in Chennai and Hyderabad.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with leadership to comprehend the business landscape and devise solutions for associate management challenges.
  • Implement IBU/SBU specific strategies in collaboration with business leaders to enhance MCARES/ICST scores, aligning with the overall Organizational HR Strategy.
  • Ensure effective communication channels are maintained within the business units.
  • Act as a catalyst in driving HR strategy across the designated units.
  • Facilitate the execution and implementation of major Human Resources processes, such as appraisals, increments, compensation, and salary administration, in conjunction with other functional teams.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex associate issues, providing guidance and intervention to resolve grievances.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage buffer levels, involuntary exits, and assess potential risks.
  • Partner with LLS/TLS and the NS SKILL Academy teams to identify skill gaps and support the selection of individuals for training programs.
  • Promote policy awareness and ensure compliance across the SBU organization.
  • Provide Unit leadership with timely analysis of key performance indicators related to people management, including retention, HTR, leaves, Hi-pots programs, and D&I.
  • Implement associate satisfaction programs to boost morale and retention.
  • Engage with all high-potential talent within the Unit.
  • Foster an environment that supports employee growth and development.
  • Review People Survey results and collaborate with leadership to implement necessary changes.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in HR principles, practices, and a solid understanding of employment laws.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong capabilities in data analysis, documentation, and presentation.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
