Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a skilled HR Data Science Analyst II to join their team in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. This role focuses on leveraging data science and advanced analytical techniques to drive HR insights and solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, formulate data-driven hypotheses, and identify key performance indicators (KPIs).
Responsibilities:
- Ideate, design, develop, model, and deploy advanced HR data science solutions.
- Gather, pre-process, and explore large-scale structured and unstructured data from diverse sources.
- Apply advanced statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and predictive modeling techniques.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, anomalies, and propose solutions.
- Develop and implement predictive models (e.g., regression, clustering, time series forecasting).
- Collaborate with data engineers and IT teams to ensure data availability, quality, and reliability.
- Communicate complex analytical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through visualizations, reports, and presentations.
- Stay updated with the latest methodologies and best practices in statistical analysis, machine learning, and the HR industry.
- Mentor and guide junior data scientists, actively participating in knowledge sharing and team development.
- Build and deploy data science and data engineering solutions using MLOps and Git.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of experimental design, hypothesis testing, and A/B testing.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, preferably from a Tier-1 institute.
- Proven experience (typically 2 to 5 years) in a data science role, preferably with HR data.
- Strong background in statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
- Experience handling and analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured datasets using SQL or similar technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
- Experience working with complex datasets is highly desirable.
