Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Bangalore, India (Hybrid)
Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to support our expanding Engineering and Customer Operations teams in Bangalore, focusing on aggressive hiring goals. This role will manage core HR functions throughout the employee lifecycle, collaborating with managers, HRBPs, and employees to foster a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment. The ideal candidate possesses practical knowledge of Indian labor laws, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers on hiring needs, provide insights on hiring progress and risks, and coordinate onsite hiring events. Track hiring metrics and improve hiring processes for scalability.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for HR policy inquiries, address basic employee relations issues, and escalate complex cases.
- Performance & Talent Support: Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting and reviews. Support the coordination of learning, development programs, and workshops. Partner with managers on HR best practices and people-related issues.
- Policy & Process Administration: Support the implementation and communication of new HR policies and guidelines, ensuring alignment with local laws and company requirements. Contribute to HR process and system improvements.
- Colleague Engagement & Culture: Foster a strong sense of belonging and connection to company values. Monitor colleague sentiment and team dynamics to identify engagement opportunities and potential risks, partnering with HRBPs and leaders for proactive solutions. Support manager enablement at the site level by reinforcing consistent people practices and leadership expectations. Coordinate cultural events and team-building activities.
- New Hire Onboarding Experience: Partner with Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, and site leaders to ensure a consistent, high-quality onsite onboarding experience. Coordinate local onboarding touchpoints, site orientations, and team experiences, identifying and addressing any gaps or inconsistencies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a multinational, matrixed, or multi-entity environment.
- Strong experience in employee engagement, onboarding, or site HR roles.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and influence without direct authority.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to lead in ambiguous situations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
- A passion for building culture, community, and positive colleague experiences.
- Experience working in HR within the Indian labor market; exposure to global or regional HR models is preferred.
- Experience working within the APAC region and with night/alternative shifts is a plus.
