Job Title: Senior Ab Initio Engineer (ETL/Cloud)
Location: Hybrid (Bengaluru)
We are seeking a Senior Ab Initio Developer to design, develop, and automate large-scale data pipelines, architect complex cloud-based systems, and deliver high-performance solutions. This role involves working across global teams to ensure timely delivery, driving innovation in data engineering practices, and ensuring code scalability, maintainability, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and automate enterprise-scale data pipelines using Ab Initio, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Implement system design, dimensional modeling, and NoSQL database solutions (DynamoDB, Cassandra).
- Develop and maintain cloud-native data workflows on AWS (EKS, S3, EC2, Kinesis, Glue, Deequ).
- Leverage Spark/Scala/PySpark for distributed data processing and Kafka/Flink for real-time streaming.
- Automate orchestration, scheduling, and monitoring with scripting (Python, Java, Bash, Korn) and Linux/Unix/Windows administration.
- Collaborate with global teams, project managers, and Agile development cycles to meet delivery timelines.
- Document technical procedures and ensure compliance with best practices.
What We Are Looking For:
- 6–8 years of overall experience in database development, ETL programming, and cloud data engineering.
- Strong expertise in SQL (Snowflake, Teradata, Oracle) and cloud platforms (AWS).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively across global teams.
- Experience with system design, automation, and performance optimization.
