Accountant (Contractual) - Petrol Pump Operations

Protiviti India is seeking a dedicated Accountant for a 2-year contractual position based in Bengaluru (Budigere and surrounding areas). This on-site role focuses on financial accuracy and daily accounting operations at designated petrol pump sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily financial records including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts.
• Assist in invoice generation, verification, and GST entry management (input/output).
• Facilitate TDS deductions and maintain vendor payment documentation.
• Execute bank reconciliations and provide support for month-end financial closing processes.
• Systematically file and organize all financial vouchers and supporting documents.

Candidate Requirements

• Education: Graduate degree in Commerce (B.Com or equivalent).
• Experience: 0 to 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
• Commitment: Willingness to commit to a 2-year employment agreement and maintain a 6-day work week.
• Mobility: Must be able to commute daily to designated petrol pump locations in Bengaluru.
• Availability: Immediate joiner or within 15 days preferred.
