About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) Analyst to join our team in Hyderabad. This role is crucial for developing and implementing comprehensive HSSE programs that align with both legal requirements and our corporate safety standards. You will be instrumental in ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all.

Key Responsibilities

• Program Implementation: Execute site-specific HSSE programs tailored to Hyderabad's operational needs and corporate safety benchmarks.
• Risk Assessment: Conduct regular safety inspections, thorough hazard assessments, and comprehensive workplace risk evaluations to proactively identify and mitigate potential dangers.
• Documentation Management: Maintain meticulous HSSE records, including incident logs and corrective action tracking, utilizing CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for efficient management.
• Permit-to-Work: Provide essential support for permit-to-work processes, covering high-risk activities such as hot work, confined space entry, electrical operations, and working at heights.
• Emergency Preparedness: Coordinate and manage emergency response drills, evacuation procedures, and crisis preparedness activities to ensure readiness for any eventuality.
• Safety Equipment: Oversee the inventory management of critical safety equipment, including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), first aid kits, and Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).
• Vendor & Contractor Compliance: Act as a key liaison with vendors and contractors, ensuring their strict adherence to all HSSE requirements and policies.
• Environmental Monitoring: Monitor and manage environmental compliance, focusing on areas such as waste disposal protocols, air emissions, and water resource management.
• Sustainability Support: Contribute to sustainability initiatives by tracking renewable energy usage and assisting with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) reporting.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, perform in-depth root cause analysis, and formulate recommendations for corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Reporting & Escalation: Manage incident reporting systems and ensure the timely escalation of information to relevant stakeholders.
• Training & Awareness: Develop and deliver engaging HSSE training programs and safety awareness campaigns to foster a strong safety culture.
• Contractor Management: Coordinate safety inductions for contractors and diligently monitor their ongoing compliance with HSSE standards.
• Certification Tracking: Track training records and certification validity to ensure the workforce maintains all necessary qualifications.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with site teams, landlords, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth inspections and audits.
• Committee Participation: Actively participate in safety committees and sustainability working groups to contribute to strategic planning and implementation.
• Continuous Improvement: Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing workplace safety and environmental performance across all operations in Hyderabad.
