Respondology seeks a driven and results-oriented Head of Channel Partnerships based in Boulder, CO. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of the digital advertising and social technology ecosystem, coupled with a passion for building and nurturing strategic alliances.
You will be instrumental in shaping Respondology's partnerships strategy, cultivating senior-level relationships, and generating substantial revenue through expert business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead Respondology’s comprehensive partnerships strategy across social platforms, adtech, Martech, and broader ecosystem partners.
- Identify, engage, and secure high-impact strategic partners, ranging from major platforms to emerging Web 3.0 entities.
- Foster and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with key senior stakeholders within partner organizations.
- Drive partnership-fueled revenue through co-selling initiatives, referral programs, channel development, and new business ventures.
- Craft compelling joint value propositions and go-to-market plans to broaden reach and accelerate sales pipeline.
- Travel regularly for in-person meetings, industry events, and essential relationship-building activities.
- Actively participate in all aspects of the partnership lifecycle, including prospecting, follow-ups, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Collaborate seamlessly with Sales, Marketing, Product, and executive leadership to ensure strategic alignment and maximize partner contributions.
- Establish robust reporting, systems, and processes to ensure scalable and predictable partnership growth.
- Infuse creativity and innovative thinking into deal structures, partnership activations, and co-marketing campaigns.
- Represent Respondology with professionalism, tenacity, and a charming persistence to achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or enterprise sales within the adtech, social platforms, or related digital technology sectors.
- Demonstrated experience as a builder of partner programs, not just a facilitator.
- In-depth knowledge of the social and digital advertising landscape, including key platforms, data providers, agencies, and ecosystem players.
- Proven ability to manage a sales pipeline, pitch effectively to executive leadership, and successfully close complex deals.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills, high emotional intelligence (EQ), and the persistence required for nurturing long-term partnerships.
- Capacity to articulate product and technical concepts into clear, compelling partner value propositions.
- Comfort and proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Willingness to travel regularly as required by business needs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience successfully building or scaling partnerships for SaaS, adtech, or social tech companies.
- A history of securing significant wins, such as major platform deals, high-profile named relationships, or agency network partnerships.
- Prior experience in sales or business development roles before transitioning into partnerships.
- A natural talent for creative deal-making and identifying unique partnership opportunities.
- Sufficient technical acumen to engage effectively with product and engineering teams.
