Head of Artificial Intelligence

Role Overview: H.K. Designs (part of the Dholakia Group), a prominent player in the Diamond, Jewellery Manufacturing & Global Retail Supply industry, is seeking a highly skilled Head of Artificial Intelligence to lead AI adoption and implementation. This hands-on role focuses on practical AI deployment using modern tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, AI agents, and workflow automation to enhance productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency across departments. You will collaborate directly with leadership to identify high-impact AI opportunities, implement solutions, and build internal capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI Strategy & Implementation: Design and execute the company’s AI adoption roadmap, identify business areas for AI-driven efficiency gains, cost reduction, or improved decision-making, and implement AI tools across sales, operations, product development, supply chain, marketing, and finance.
• AI Workflow Automation: Build AI-powered workflows and automation systems, deploy bots and AI agents to automate repetitive tasks, integrate AI into internal systems (CRM, ERP, reporting), and reduce manual work through intelligent automation.
• AI Tools Deployment: Maximize the use of modern AI platforms including ChatGPT, Claude, Genspark, AI copilots, no-code/low-code automation tools, AI workflow tools, and custom AI APIs.
• AI Training & Internal Adoption: Train senior leaders and teams on effective AI tool usage, develop internal AI playbooks and best practices, and assist departments in automating workflows with AI assistants.
• AI Agent & Bot Development: Design and deploy AI bots for internal processes such as customer response automation, internal knowledge assistance, reporting, sales support, and document automation.
• Data & Intelligence Systems: Develop AI tools for business analytics, market intelligence, decision support, and predictive insights.

Key Outcomes Expected: Success will be measured by the percentage of company processes automated, productivity improvement, reduction in manual work, AI adoption rates, and the creation of scalable AI systems.

Required Skills: Strong understanding of modern AI tools and platforms; experience implementing AI automation in real business environments; familiarity with AI APIs, LLMs, prompt engineering, and AI workflows; experience with workflow automation tools (Zapier, Make, LangChain); ability to translate business problems into AI solutions; strong communication skills.

Preferred Experience: Implementing AI in large organizations or startups; exposure to operations, manufacturing, or retail; experience building AI agents or internal productivity systems; understanding of data workflows and automation architecture.
