Our client, a leading Global Engineering company, is seeking a Head - Industrial Relations to be based in Bangalore, India. This critical role will oversee pan-India industrial relations, manpower management, and statutory compliance across a diverse, multi-plant manufacturing footprint. The position demands significant expertise in managing a highly seasonal operation with a substantial reliance on contract labor. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring uninterrupted production by proactively managing manpower-related issues, addressing seasonality challenges, mitigating migration-led labor volatility, fostering constructive union relationships, and providing practical, compliant, and collaborative IR solutions to support business objectives. This role is focused on enabling smooth operations rather than reactive problem-solving.
