HCL Geomtech Product _CAD Developer

Role Overview

HCL Software is seeking a motivated Sr. CAD Developer proficient in C++ to join the HCL Geomtech Product team.

Summary:

• This role requires candidates with at least 1+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong aptitude and analytical geometry skills are essential for solving complex geometric problems within a Windows environment.

Primary Skills Required:

• CAD Development expertise
• C++ Proficiency (Windows Platform)
• Analytical Geometry capabilities
• Ability to work on-site in Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, or Chennai for 5 days per week.

Secondary Skills:

• MFC programming
• Geometric algorithms implementation
• C#.Net and WPF knowledge (advantageous)

Tool Knowledge & Technologies:

• Familiarity with major CAD tools: NX, Creo, Solid-Works APIs.
• Proficiency in MS Visual Studio 2012/2015.
• Version control via SVN and issue tracking using JIRA.
• Memory management (e.g., Rational) and SQL Database knowledge.

Duties & Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in product development, a strong command of C++, and the ability to navigate SDLC processes effectively. Experience with CAD/Geometric kernel APIs is highly preferred.
